Hello from the English Conversation Club!

Every week, students in the 7th and 8th year gather on Wednesday to have conversations and play games in English. This past Wednesday, the club played a game called “Mad Libs” where students write out words (nouns, adjectives, measurements of time, numbers, colors, and more) and create stories with them. Students were put into small groups to brainstorm different words, and then they put the words into story templates. Not only did the students have to complete the stories, they also had to designate one person as the reader and then two other students as the actors. The results were quite hilarious! Our stories were about a crazy stay at a scary hospital, a visit to an enchanted forest, and a camping trip. The classroom was full of laughter, storytelling, and adventure!
